To enable students who come from diverse backgrounds to acquire knowledge, attitudes, skill and behavior necessary for social work practice.

 

To nurture the intellectual curiosity of our students and facilitating the development into their active into independent leanings.

 

To enhance competence and assure through field experience and access to learning opportunities outside the classroom too.

 

To encourage the students to identify the social problems and develop a plane for   personal involvement.

OBJECTIVES

To facilitate education and training in professional social work to those desirous of making career in the fields of social work

 

To provide opportunities, knowledge, skills, attitudes and values appropriate to work with individuals, groups, communities and organizations by promoting integration of theory and practice

 

To promote among students a sense of dedication and commitment for appropriate service to the cause of the poor, under privileged and disadvantaged sections of the society.
