CMR Institute of Management studies (CMRIMS), a part of CMR Group of Institutions, promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust, serves the people of the society regardless of socio-economic levels, offering practical education in Management Sciences, Bio-Sciences, Information Technology, Commerce and Humanities through its interrelated programs of instruction, Research and Professional Service. With its institutional emphasis upon areas related to Science and Technology, the Institution carries out its mission of discovery, development, dissemination and preservation of knowledge.
CMR Institute of Management Studies (CMRIMS) was established in July 1996 for promoting academic and professional excellence in various branches of education. It is with this noble declaration and commitment to impart the highest quality of education that CMRIMS continues its mission. CMRIMS is affiliated to Bangalore University; Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Recognised by the UGC, Government of India and Government of Karnataka and Accredited by NAAC.
Initially, the institution offered courses in Management only but soon diversified itself into various branches of academics like Information Technology, Biosciences, Commerce, Psychology, Social Work, Humanities, Mass Communication and Electronic Media. This gives CMRIMS a holistic perception of education.
The vision of the founder, Sri Chikka Muniyappa Reddy, the qualitative support of the trust, the astute leadership of the Principal and the sheer dedication of the teaching faculty have enabled the institution to emerge as one of the renowned colleges in Bangalore. The infrastructure of the college is given paramount importance.
